Football superstar Tim Tebow is returning to the high school football field for one night. The Shine event, hosted by Compassion City Church, is set for September 20 at McCord Field at Aggie Stadium at Albertville High School. General admission tickets for the bleacher seats are available for $15 while the premium seats are already sold out. High school students can get in for free, but they need to check with their high school to get tickets.
Tebow was a household name in the area after making headlines in a few National Championship games against the University of Alabama, but it was his faith that made him an inspiration to Christians everywhere. Throughout his high school, college and professional career, he hasn’t wavered on his traditional values, even wearing the “John 3:16” eye black.
He spoke in Birmingham in 2016, but that event was only open to students. While he will be speaking around the South in 2017, this is the only time he will be in the Huntsville market.
