Travel Channel Host Showcases Huntsville In New Show

Samantha Brown, the bubbly Travel Channel host who travels the world looking for great places, made a quick stop at Campus 805 to tell the world something we already know—Huntsville has some of the coolest places.

In her quick video, she takes her 135,000 Facebook friends on a tour of Campus 805, the entertainment venue located in the old Stone Middle School. It’s part of her new series, Places to Love, that will debut in January 2018 on PBS.

“Wouldn’t you have loved to know that your junior high school turned into a speakeasy?” Samantha asked in the video.

She’s in Huntsville for another reason. Samantha was the keynote speaker for the TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) conference on May 4 to 6.

This isn’t her first trip to the Rocket City. In March, Samantha posted a photo on Instagram of her dinner at G’s Country Kitchen with the caption, “The only way to leave Huntsville, Alabama is on a full stomach. A very full stomach. Enjoyed wonderful soul food and people at G’s.”

We couldn’t agree more, Samantha.
