Vacation Bible School Roundup 2017

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of “Jesus Loves Me” filling the air while church leaders buy out Costco’s supply of apple juice and peanut butter crackers. Yes, Vacation Bible School (VBS) season is upon us.

There’s a church on almost every corner in North Alabama—after all this is the Bible belt—so we will be updating this list as we find out about new Vacation Bible School locations. If you know of one we missed on the list, email the details to [email protected]

Week of June 5-9

Whitesburg Baptist Church—open for ages 4 through fifth grade, 9 a.m. to noon on June 5-9

Southwood Presbyterian Church—kindergarten through fifth grade, 9 a.m. to noon on June 5-8

Willowbrook Baptist Church—ages 4 through fourth grade, 9 a.m. to noon on June 5-9

Lindsey Lane Baptist Church—9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 5-8

Weatherly Heights Baptist Church—ages 4 through fifth grade, June 5-9

Jackson Way Baptist Church—8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., June 5-9. All-day VBS costs $35 per child.

Life’s Journey Church—open for ages 4 through fifth grade, 9 a.m. to noon June 5-9.  Click here for more details and to register.

Week of June 12-16

Huntsville First United Methodist Church—ages 4 through fifth grade, 9 a.m. to noon on June 12-15

Calvary Baptist Church—ages 4 through sixth grade, 9 a.m. to noon on June 12-16

Week of June 19-23

Cornerstone Presbyterian—ages 4 through fifth grade, 9 to 11:30 a.m. on June 19-22

Calvary Bible Church-—ages 4 through sixth grade, 9 to 11:50 a.m. on June 19-23

Week of July 10-14

Epworth United Methodist Church—6 to 8 p.m. on July 10-13

Church of the Highlands—Kindergarten through sixth grade8:15 a.m. to noon on July 10-12

Week of July 24-28

Westminster Presbyterian Church—9 a.m. to noon on July 24-26
