8 Recognized as National Merit Semifinalists

Congratulations are in order for eight Huntsville City Schools students who qualified for the National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinals. Only 16,000 out of 1.6 million scored high enough on the test to compete for the 7,600 scholarships this spring

“These students are ones that we know will go on to achieve great things,” said Sheri Crigger, HCS Counselor. “This recognition represents over a decade of work from not only the students, but their teachers, school staff, and family.”

Congratulations to the following students:

Grissom High School

Samantha Abercrombie, Franscine Garcia, Ian Mackenzie

Huntsville High School
