Baseball Players Get Creative

Students should be fighting end-of-the-year stress, lost motivation, and overall excitement for prom, graduation and parties. They should be wrapping up sports seasons, dance recitals and exams. They should be celebrating, but they aren’t.

Several Westminster Christian Academy athletes are making the best of a bad situation by making a jovial video addressing the pandemic and the end of their season.

Thanks to some creative video editing, the Westminster baseball team created a senior memento they can carry on to college. One by one, the players throw, catch and hit balls, with the footage edited to look like a cohesive game.

“Don’t take life for granted,” one player said. “One day you could be out on the field playing a regular season game … and the next day you’re done for the rest of the season.”
