With only 87 days left till Christmas, nonprofits are gearing up for a busier-than-usual season of giving back. Christmas Charities Year Round is no exception, and local businesses are pitching in to help.
Matt Jayne, from Alabama Lawn Masters, drove the Christmas Charities Year Round van to drop off gifts for the children at Riverton Elementary School.
Usually, the nonprofit lets children pick out the back-to-school clothes they want, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they received a prepackaged bag of clothes.
“Thanks to Matt with Alabama Lawn Masters, Inc. for driving the CCYR Mobile Closet!” Christmas Charities Year Round wrote on Facebook. “Thanks to Madison County Schools for hosting our 1st EVER drive-thru visit at Riverton Elementary School, partnered with Mt. Carmel Elementary School and Riverton Intermediate School, #CommunityCollaboration #COVIDSafe #MaskUpHSV.”
Thanks to all the Huntsville businesses giving back this year!
