Police Help Girl, 6, Celebrate Birthday

When Katelin Green’s daughter, Brilee, turned six in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, she knew this year’s birthday party would be a little different.

Katelin organized a birthday parade for friends and family to stop by, visit, send birthday well wishes and drop off gifts. It was a success, and the little girl had one guest she wasn’t expecting: Eduardo Bahena, a Muscle Shoals police officer.

Eduardo Bahena, I just wanted to give you some love and recognition!! I know y’all had an extremely hard call out this morning and I just wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to help wish my baby girl a happy birthday!!!” Katelin wrote on Facebook. “You rock and made her day!!!”

Eduardo, a police officer originally from Washington, drove his patrol car through the parade to help the young girl celebrate.

Happy birthday, Brilee, and way to go, Eduardo!
