Rick Burgess to Headline Fundraiser

You can almost hear the Rick and Bubba theme song playing every time you bring up Rick Burgess, but he’s more than the larger-than-life radio host we’ve grown to know and love. Rick has authored several New York Times bestselling books, spoken to groups across the country and runs a ministry with his wife of 25 years, Sherri.

Now, you’ll have the chance to hear him speak in Huntsville at the His Way fundraising dinner on August 27.

The night opens with a special meet and greet, followed by dinner and a speech from Rick.

Proceeds go to His Way ministry, a nonprofit devoted to helping men fight addiction.

“If you take the men of the church from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity, you will solve a lot of problems in the church and in the world,” Rick said.

Organizers will also be adjusting the event to allow for COVID-19 considerations. Tables will be spaced farther apart, salads and desserts will not be preset, and food service workers will be required to follow best practices. The VIP suite will also accommodate for social distancing.

Tickets for the event are $70 each, $500 for a table of eight, and an additional $50 per person for the VIP meet and greet event.

You can purchase tickets online here.
